Class of 2005 - 20-Year Reunion
On October 10th, the Loreto on the Green Class of 2005 (20 years on!) gathered for a relaxed and joyful reunion in the beautiful surroundings of The Grayson, 41 St Stephen’s Green. The evening was lovingly organised by Francesca Walsh, Elizabeth McHugh Donaghy, and Anastasia Campion, who brought everyone together for a celebration that turned out to be far more meaningful than any of us expected.
As we were reconnecting with classmates, we discovered that one former student from our year, Jenny Higgins, is currently working with the Red Cross / Red Crescent in Palestine. Learning about her extraordinary work moved us deeply. It felt only right that our reunion should also shine a light on the women in Gaza whom Jenny works to support. Anyone from the wider Loreto community who wishes to donate is warmly welcomed. Information and links are included below:

The atmosphere on the night was electric, old friends reunited after decades, with some women not having set eyes on each other since the days of wine pinafores and back when we still wore a tie. A few classmates even flew in from the UK especially for the occasion. There was laughter, storytelling, heartfelt hugs, and even a babe in arms amongst us, proof that life has taken us all on wonderfully different paths.
The warmth of the evening has already sparked rumours of a Christmas catch-up, and given the energy in the room, it’s safe to say the Loreto spirit is still very much alive. Here’s to 20 years, to friendship, to giving back and to the super women who continue to make the Loreto community proud.
