Loreto College works with the local business community to open doors and give outstanding educational opportunities to young girls through our Teresa Ball Access Programme. The access programme offers a fully paid tuition scholarship including uniforms, sports equipment, Ipads, books, travel and school outings to students who otherwise would not have the means to attend. Our founder, Sr. Teresa Ball believed passionately in the availability of educational opportunities for everyone and provided not just free education but also food and clothing to children whose families could not afford school fees. This sense of outreach and awareness of need has been a hallmark of Loreto education to this day. We are intent on continuing this tradition and in extending outstanding educational opportunities to girls, regardless of background or means.

The Loreto Literary Festival takes place annually and ignites young students' interests in literature through exciting and fun interactive workshops. The day's events are led by prominent writers, illustrators, and creators of young adult fiction and prominent radio, social and TV media voices. The Festival takes place over one day in Trinity College, is organised by Loreto College and is aimed at first year students across Ireland. The event welcomes student groups from multiple schools but specifically targets students who otherwise would not have the means to attend. We are actively seeking sponsors for this event.
